A fully restored luxury farmhouse with pool for 8 people to rent in comfort
The house stands on a hillside in 10 hectares of land in the Parco Artistico Naturale e Culturale of the Val D'Orcia (now an UNESCO world heritage site), in Southern Tuscany. The outstandingly beautiful views of unspoilt peaceful countryside extend over miles of typical Tuscan hills and valleys, including Monte Amiata, Monte Cetona and ancient hilltop towns and villages such as San Casciano dei Bagni. Chiusi (30 minutes drive), is on the main north- south railway line linking Southern Italy and Rome with Florence, Milan, Bologna and the North and it is also an access point on the A1 autostrada between Rome and Florence. The house is within easy car distance of Orvieto, Siena, Perugia and Florence. Fast trains to Rome take 1.5 hrs. The house is managed by Rachele, (who comes six days a week for cleaning or pool maintenance), Guglielmo, (who looks after the land), and Riziano, (who is our gardener). Rachele also provides a meal service. She will happily serve you a complete meal by arrangement or provide you with her home made delicious pasta or meat dishes to heat up and serve yourselves.
